How to Throw an Easy, Magical Holiday Party

Who's got time for all the Pinteresting, planning, shopping, and implementing that goes along with a typical holiday gathering? Want to throw a magical, memorable holiday party, but without all the fuss? We're here to help show you where to minimize and maximize your efforts to create lasting memories!

Minimize Efforts Here

1) Menu

Keep the menu simple and delegate. Designate a main dish that you will provide, and ask others to come up with their own side dishes, appetizers, and desserts. This can be easier said than done so be prepared to provide a little direction on what types of dishes you might prefer. And order what you can!! Whether it's a Honeybaked Ham or a pre-made Charcuterie Board, save time and effort by letting someone else do the cooking.

2) Décor

Don't focus as much on the décor of the entirety of your home. Use simple greens and a splash of red, maybe a little white too. Instead, focus your attention on the entrance to your home (this first thing people will see when they arrive) and the dining room table.

3) Gifts

There's honestly no need for every adult at every holiday party to be bringing gifts for each person in attendance. Just be sure to communicate this in advance so no one ends up feeling in the dark. If people still feel the need for gift giving, recommend a local charity and ask everyone to bring an item that can be donated.

Maximize Efforts Here

1) Signature Drink/Dessert-Put most of your efforts here!!!

Leave a lasting impression by serving a truly fun and magical signature drink (you can also do this with non-alcoholic beverages). The actual drink is not the exciting part, but rather the presentation.

Take your time and create something that is different and Instagram-worthy. Your guests will be telling their friends about it!

2) Entrance and Dining Décor

Fresh Greens, some candles, and a splash of red goes a long way! There's also no need to go overboard here as the greens will take up a lot of space and give a festive feel. Tea lights, fairy lights, or candles are a great way to continue to ambiance into the evening.
